Simply Gorgeous 19th Century Victorian Turquoise and Split Pearl Brooch

This is a simply gorgeous 19th Century Victorian Turquoise heart brooch with a bow on top, brooches don't get more gorgeous than this! A heart with a bow on top symbolised two hearts tied together, they became very popular in the high romance era influenced by Queen Victoria. The heart and bow often connected to the idea of an unbreakable, continuous or "everlasting love".

Condition: Metal with some surface scratches and wear, areas of slight discolouration. Split pearls untested for natural origins. Split pearls in good condition with some abrasion to the nacre, typical surface blemishes. Turquoise in good condition with minor abrasion.
